Every memory begins as vividly as a flower.
Over time, however, it slowly dries, fades, and
eventually loses its form. An abandoned nest
does not hold on to what has left; instead, it
holds the textures left by time and the process
of forgetting itself. The accordion book contained
within the nest captures traces of memories as
they gradually fade. Its continuous structure
suggests that memory is not made up of isolated moments, but of time flowing and blending into
itself. Perhaps we do not simply remember the
past, but repeatedly live through the traces
that time leaves behind.
